Cool but does it matter if you build with uncolor coded pegs? Try making one that does color and size. Great work though.

the difference between the 2 isnt color lol rascism! XD anyways its about how things hold up if you put a holed lego on the black it will not turn easy and is steady and wont shake as for the gray will slide like a plus peg when u put a holed lego on it

It doesn’t have to be, it just ended up that way when I set it up. There is a restriction that you can’t have two black pegs in a row, though.

Well, without seeing it I can only guess. What happens to yours?

This model is very finicky and may take some tweaking and patience to get it to work. Make sure you follow all 4 steps in the “Using the Peg Sorter” section carefully.

    22. nxtprograms Says:

      Yes, there are a …
Yes, there are a couple of weaknesses. First, as currently designed, it can’t handle two black pegs in a row, because the mechanical hitter can’t recover fast enough after hitting the first one in time to hit the second one (fixing this is left as a challenge…).

Also, unlike a real factory sorter, the pegs here are just sliding down from gravity, and sometimes a peg will get a little jammed on the way down and not slide as fast, which throws off the timing and it will get missed.
