    This brick sorting robot can be made from the NXT retail kit.
    I have made building instructions for it as well.

      Well everything is made with one set other then the extra black 3 U beam :) I just substituted it with a grey one. Still great robot :)

      well, it wasn’t me who created that one, but i’ll use the light sensor, you can see that he use a black, grey and white. that would be the easiest, for those 3 has the biggest different color for the sensor. notice this and you program should be easy to make, use some kind of if command, if the brick is black rotate “the sorter” to the right etc

      You will know when you try it out yourself. I’ve put instructions to do this online.

      oh my god! I tried to download the program to my nxt and it says “out of Memory” I even deleted all the sound files!
